The brief was a ‘shock wave’ effect to blow the hair of the judges on the Voice, so to create an the perfect instant waft, we devised an effect with a large Venturi blower, run from a bottle of CO2. This provided a high pressure burst ( 800psi), with no noisy compressor- ideal for studio use….
